About Our Founder & President

Barbara Davis has worked as a senior Business Analyst and Solutions Consultant for over 10 years and came into information technology with a solid business and change management background. During her 10 years, she has worked with high profile companies such as UST Global, Safeway, HEB, ICBC, WellPoint, and Drugstore.com.

As founder of E2 Consulting Inc & LLC, Barbara has become a published author, noted mentor, business advisor, and change management expert, and has developed the world's first requirements methodology as well as a lean project methodology.

While at UST Global, Barbara worked to develop an autonomous Center of Excellence for Business Analysis & Requirements and to formalize the BA practice through standardized processes, ongoing training & networking, career planning and performance management. She interviewed, assessed and networked with hundreds of business analysts and developed a business analysis community.

Barbara developed the world's first university accredited business analysis diploma (associate's degree equivalent) and led the way for the then fledgling IIBA to begin their CBAP - Certified Business Analysis Program. The early members of the IIBA were in attendance during the senate meetings to approve the new diploma program. She has conducted numerous workshops and professional skills training sessions over the past 25 years.
